Dr. Samyr Mezzour
Samyr Mezzour is the Chief Venturing Officer at House of InsurTech Switzerland (HITS), the innovation arm of Generali, where he brings together Generali business units and startups to co‑create customer‑centric solutions. He leads and coordinates cross‑business‑unit innovation initiatives across the Generali Group, with a strong focus on AI‑driven solutions that drive growth and operational efficiency.
Prior to joining Generali, Samyr worked in strategy consulting at Roland Berger, management consulting at BearingPoint, and in the insurance industry at AXA. He is an engineer from ETH Zurich, holds a PhD from HEC Lausanne, and completed executive education at MIT Sloan School of Management and the MIT Media Lab.
Samyr regularly speaks at international conferences on innovation, AI, and the future of insurance.
