Paul Hunkin
Paul Hunkin is the founder of Jsonify, the outside-in data layer for European insurers. Jsonify deploys AI agents that turn the public web and apps into decision-ready intelligence—competitor pricing, regulatory shifts, and AI exposure—at insurance-grade enterprise scale.
Paul is a New Zealander based in Lisbon, with a decade of consulting work across organisations ranging from early-stage startups to Google, NASA, Sony, and the Bavarian Government. He's previously co-founded ventures in Nairobi, Singapore, and Lisbon -- and has shipped production systems ranging from autonomous drones to distributed big-data infrastructure. He started Jsonify in 2023 on the bet that most enterprise data problems aren't AI problems, they're "the data lives somewhere awkward on the public web" problems. He is occasionally accused of caring about insurance data more than is reasonable.
